Biography

Owen Fitzgerald spent six years building developer tools before moving into full-time teaching. He runs the department's most oversubscribed elective and still answers his own office-hour queue.

Programming Fundamentals

Programming Fundamentals moves from the ideas introduced in CSC101 into sustained program design: functions, data structures, and the habits that separate code that works once from code that can be maintained. Students complete progressively larger projects across the semester, culminating in a multi-file program built and tested incrementally.

Web Application Development

Web Application Development takes the object-oriented and data-handling foundations from earlier courses and applies them to building complete, interactive web applications, from browser-side interfaces through to a working backend and data layer.
