Operating Systems explains how a computer runs many programs at once, safely and (mostly) fairly. The course covers processes, memory management, and file systems through the lens of the trade-offs an operating system designer has to make.

Cloud Computing & Systems at Scale examines how modern applications are deployed, scaled, and kept resilient across managed infrastructure. Students design and deploy a small application under simulated load, then diagnose and fix the bottlenecks that appear.
